Is it common to receive admission to a school, but be denied financial aid?
I also got the email from the dean and note from the tour guide at Lville. I’m applying as a day student and have a shipping notification
fedex shows exeter
is the shipping notification from
Lawrenceville? Bc they are not shipping to day students.
ngl afraid to answer. Don’t want to jinx anything. This day is taking forever, keep sneaking out my phone in class.
Yes it’s from Lville. I’m 3rd generation legacy so that may be the difference
I haven’t received anything! It can also be accessed via the portal.
Yes or not given enough.
YESS!!! Congraats on lville tho that’s amazing
I just wanted to say everyone who applied that just the act of applying was a great move! No matter the results tomorrow (or midnight tonight), know that you ALL did your very BEST and should be proud of every ounce of energy (that was not dedicated to social media!).
Thank youuu wishing you all the besttt
Hey guys btw. Ik I joined this thread very late but js wanted to pop in and say hi as I have been following along the thread like a secret spy for a couple of months now

anyone’s groton decision released?
As far as packages going out, has anyone received a shipping notification from Taft, Kent, Loomis, or Hotchkiss? Also does anyone know which service any of the schools use?
Where did you hear they aren’t sending to Day Students?
Well clearly where I heard was wrong if you are a day student and received a package. Surprising though bc how I heard it was pretty reliable.
Never heard of people getting notifications from Loomis. I’m not even sure they send a package at all- just an envelope or folder of things in the mail.
Of that list only activity heard was a couple of Hotchkiss labels last week. None from the other schools that I’ve seen but I’m not sure those schools send out in advance. Many send after you accept an offer.
