<p>Some sent e-mails to parent and kid at 6:30 AM (Exeter) with subject line something like “Welcome to Exeter”, followed by a hand written snail mail personal note card from your AO with a lot of personal detail about what the committee was impressed with . that arrived a few days later.</p>
<p>Deerfield sent a beautiful huge watercolor poster of Deerfield, which arrived a few days after M10, along with a Deerfield pin and a form letter.</p>
<p>Andover sent a fed-ex full of blue stuff - stuffed animal, PA t-shirt, stickers.</p>
<p>Hotchkiss was the friendliest, with warm personal letters of encouragement coming almost every day.</p>
<p>Some schools wait to send e-mails or allow log-in until after 3 PM to avoid school day hysteria.</p>
