MA 115, 213, and 214

So for scheduling issues i couldn’t take 213 this semester. So I talked to the math department and they told me I could substitute it with 115. My question is will I have any difficulty going on MA214 after taking MA 115 without taking MA 213 before? Thanks.

anyone?..

MA214 takes the latter half of MA213 (confidence intervals & hypothesis tests for one sample) and applies it to progressively more complicated situations (two or more samples, regression models). as long as you’re comfortable with one-sample CI/HT and not horrible at math, i don’t think MA214 is very difficult. less calculation, more interpretation. i actually thought MA214 was easier than MA213. but i can’t say that i know much about MA115.
