supposed to come out in July…well we’re 1/3 of the way through July…anyone heard of a date when this is coming out?

From what I’ve read there is a good chance that the new air and lion will be out on the 14th

Ok thank you.

I’m awaiting the release date too, I can’t wait to upgrade!

Same…!!!

OSX Lion hits the app store 2moro!!!

What Mars said!

It’s barely worth the upgrade! For $30, it adds a few multitasking features, such as improved gestures. But it’s not really worth it (YET). Adobe Flash Player has plenty of bugs on it. Most programs don’t natively support the full-screen application feature either. I would recommend those on Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6) to wait a month or two before upgrading. If I had known before, that’s what I would have done.

thanks for the heads up

The Lion download said you’re supposed to be able to make a backup of the software in case your computer crashed or something, so how do I do that? Anyone know???

get an external hard drive, or a virtual one, and back up with time machine…

Yeah…but where do I find what exactly to back up? Click on Finder, then…? You’re gonna have to dumb it down for me with this…sorry.

Cnet does a good job with tutorials, follow the directions and you’ll be fine.
