<p>My kid is having a lot of problems with her Pton approved laptop MAC. Crashes a lot and some compatibility problems with a Pton printer, etc. Calls to OIT end up with “you have to see a MAC expert.” I will expand the memory first chance on the upcoming break but wanted to know if others are having problems and they are not being addressed by OIT. <p>How much RAM does it have? My son has a Mac laptop and the only problem that I am aware of is wireless connectivity. My Ibook runs 256MB and could stand for an upgrade. A 1 Gig chip is about $140 with 1800memory.</p>
<p>She has the big MAC spec’d by Pton’s OIT which is 500 meg I believe. I will upgrade over break. The WIFI is slow and often not available.</p>
<p>The “Mac expert” could not get his laptop to run on the wireless network.
