My son plans to apply early action. Here are his stats:
Weighted GPA: 4.79
ACT: 33
Major: Neuroscience
ECs: 4 Years HS Orchestra (percussion), 4 Years Theater (costumes, run crew, show orchestra, head of wardrobe junior year and anticipated senior year) Drum kit since 3rd grade, created rock band with friends, co-compose original music, Neuroscience camp through Drexel, 1 summer camp counselor for camp for kids with cancer and their siblings,
APs:
Bio: 5, Psych: 5, Lang: 5
Next year: Stats and Chem

My son is going to apply early action.
UW GPA: ~3.7 (depending on how summer courses count).
SAT: 1550 (780 M/770 EWR)
AP scores: World History (5), APUSH (5), French Lang (5), Eng Lang (5), Physics I (4). This year taking Physics C, AP Lit, BC Calc, Bio, and Photo
Major: TBD but probably either Physics or Bio
ECs: Varsity badminton, piano, cycling club, math tutoring, physics TA, robotics club, honors French immersion program (summer), WPI Frontiers program (summer)

In my D23’s admission cycle everyone who applied got that; it was not an indication of whether someone was admitted.

But I submitted a supplemental arts portfolio so it wasn’t like related to the major or anything
