Macalester, Davidson, Middlebury

I have been waitlisted in some of these schools and accepted at some as well. Although I have almost no chance of getting off the waitlist, I wanted to see what college would be the best fit for my interest and my plans for the future. So these are my interests/goals:

Double Major in English & _____ (haven’t decided yet). Along the lines of political science, economics, math…

LOVE Theatre, especially acting. I want a place where I can get lots of hands-on experience (in and, if possible, out of college) and college theatre is of high standards and popular.

I am planning to audition for drama schools (RADA, LAMDA, Bristol Old Vic, Julliard) throughout my college years as it is hard to get accepted at the first try. Most of these auditions take place in NYC so being close to it is probably a plus although doesn’t have to be.

Because I am an intl student, it would be good to go to an internationally aware place.

I don’t mind the cold… even though I lived in a tropical climate for 9 years… (maybe I do?)

Opportunity for internship (for intl students) also very important!

Also, I am toying with the idea of going to Graduate school (English lit or comparative lit) so the school that best prepares me is probably good!

Thanks in advance!

Really, you shouldn’t count on the waitlists. Which school(s) accepted you?

i know that macalester has an incredible large and diverse interantional student body, as well as great programs for international study abroad.
