@doschicos, agree that certain NE schools such as Colgate, Hamilton, Middlebury and Williams would have even lower acceptance rates if they were in a more amenity rich area - Bowdoin and Swarthmore provide that insight. I think that also holds true for many Midwest schools that were also impacted by the Red vs Blue political divide as several top-30 saw applications drop by 15-20%.
