<p>I applied to both schools as an international business major. (I was accepted into the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown.) I am aware that Georgetown has a better name, but I did not receive any financial aid. The cost of Georgetown is about $50/60 k per year while Macaulay is free of cost. </p>

<p>Georgetown is a great school but if you are going to have to accumulate over $40-50k of debt, then in my opinion, it is not worth it. Especially when your other option is fairly solid and…free!</p>
<p>But if money is no issue, go to GU. Great place to go to school, especially for business. </p>

<p>You and your family need to sit down and determine whether you think that Georgetown is worth it to you. How much debt would you need to take on? If it is more than the maximum Stafford Loan total for four years, then it is too much.</p>
