Macbook Covers and Protectors

<p>I’m about to purchase a macbook (black or white I’m not sure), and really want to keep it clean and pristine for as long as it lasts.</p>

<p>If I have a cover or protector on a white macbook, the discoloration won’t happen right? It’s just from contact with the wrists, and not exposure to air???</p>

<p>What are the best covers, skins and protectors for the preservation and aesthetics of the macbook?</p>

<p>Just get the Palmguard and maybe the speck shell. Just the palmguard should be good enough if you are careful with the macbook (e.g. slippery hands, dropping, etc).</p>

<p>Personally, I’m getting the best skin ever one. I heard from other Mac users that its really good. </p>

<p>I read the yellow wrist discoloration was a defect and was fixed? Anyway I’m getting it to avoid scratches and so its easier to clean. But the discoloration thing was supposedly from people’s skin contact to the material used in that area, so if there’s a cover there, there won’t be any discoloration as far as I know. But I remember reading it was a manufacturing defect, Apple made good with those with the defect and since then it was fixed.</p>
