Macbook won't take in disc

Normally, Macbooks automatically take in discs once it detects them being inserted, but mine stopped doing this. Help?

Maybe you should’ve gotten a PC instead of a Mac. Obviously, your macbook currently sucks.

sorry I couldn’t resist

Consider getting a real computer

Or you guys could actualy, I dunno, try to help?

Sounds like the drive’s kaput. Take it into the Apple Store and they’ll probably either replace the computer or the drive.

maybe you put the disc in upside down

on my computer it broke and they took out the drive thing and put a new one in

How much did they charge? Are they really so generous as to replace the computer or the drive?

unless you’ve taken a baseball bat to your computer, or something, they’ll probably replace at no charge.

Wow… that’s impressive.

did you try using a condom?

If the computer is still under warranty, then you’re fine and it’ll be done free.

How would I use a condom in this case? do I insert it like I would a cardboard as if I were trying to get something out?

just kidding. I get what you’re trying to get at. a disc isn’t shaped like a ***** though, so bad analogy. but you are right in assuming that my macbook is selective. It was rejecting a bad DVD (Harry Potter movie 1). hah, just kidding about last part as well. my friend will kill me.

read your first line, it makes me laugh.

If its still in warranty take in back and Apple will replace or repair it for you.

hope that it’s still under warranty, but that your computer is the old version, and they give you a free upgrade. I’ve had it happen before. It made my day

I bought this under a year ago, so am I right in thinking that it’s still covered?

you’re still under their general warranty. do you still have the box it came in? the box or paperwork that it came with should have the warranty information.

it’ll still be under their general 1 year warranty, at least.

The Apple store geniuses are normally super super nice. if you get bad service, just go back later and ask a different person. It should be covered.
