Made a huge mistake on app; reconsideration into a program possible?

Today, I retrieved my UMCP application and realized that I had left the ENTIRE Activities tab blank! Though I am relieved that I was still accepted, I admit that this entire time, I was disappointed in not recieving an invitiation to a Scholars program nor Honors College, especially since I applied by the Priority deadline. To be honest, when I saw that red X on my Activities tab, I felt gypped because I spent most of my high school career focusing on my activities, which at the end, were not reviewed by the admission officers.
I’m wondering, could I still contact the undergraduate admission officers, Scholars adcom and/or Honors adcom and send in my resume to reconsider me for Scholars or Honors? If I could, any advice on what I should say?

Thank you so much! (this is my first post! =)

I’m certainly not an expert on this, but I think it would be worth a try, even at this late date. Since you made a mistake on your application, there is definitely additional information for them to consider. (It’s different than if they had all the information in the first place, and you’re just asking them to reconsider their decision.) If I were you, I’d call them, explain the situation, and ask if there’s any possibility of being considered for Honors and Scholars. Good luck!

I totally agree with the advice above. What harm can it do?
