I recently submitted my application to UVA, but I realized I made a mistake! In the honors section of my application, I’ve written that I was nominated for the NAfME All-Eastern Senior Chorus. I’d like to include that this nomination was made by the school administration and that I became eligible for All-Eastern through policies from NAfME as well as MMEA All-State Chorus management because I don’t want it to seem like I was nominated by NAfME and then come off as a liar. Am I stressing too much over this, or is this a valid concern to email UVA admission officers about?
If this is what you wrote, I think it’s fine. You didn’t say NAfME nominated you, you said you were nominated.
What you wrote sounds fine to me. Move on.
I see no issue. You are fine.
Thanks guys! Appreciate the quick help haha I was going crazy
UVA is a great choice. My elder daughter is a 4th year there. She really enjoys her time at UVA. BTW, she also applied for EA at the time and we are international. Now, my D25 submitted her application (EA too).
Oh awesome! I’m thinking I probably won’t get into UVA if I’m honest with myself but I’m very excited about submitting EA there regardless
