A party everyone should get to once while in college. Midwest Mardi Gras

Personally, I don’t think it’s *that *great. Something about standing in a crowd to listen to a crummy band while having no control over where your body goes, including into the vomit from the girl behind you, just doesn’t do it for me

Or did I miss something? The costumes were awesome, though, I must admit, as is hanging out with friends, but… I dunno. Maybe I don’t see what’s so maddeningly awesome.

But it is kinda fun, yeah.

My roommate went. O.A.R. is one of his favorite bands too.

Looks like fun, although I would also have to recommend UNC-Chapel Hill’s celebration. We had 80,000 people come last year, although strict police measures only allowed around 35,000 this year. You can bet we will get up in the 70k range again though next year after our mayor is up for re-election.
