You’re right, which is why players are encouraged to PM each other (to gather intel) and to discuss the game in this thread when it’s strategic for them. The only difference between now and Day #1 is that the execution is not yet open for voting.</p>

<p>Yeah, though there’s not much to discuss before the first round. Some games I’ve played had the host drop subtle clues every time someone was killed; others were so hardcore they had people forming alliances, similar to some not-as-lame competitive-reality shows.</p>

<p>Last night was a joyful night for our villagers. Although detective did not investigate anyone, only two Mafia members attempted an assassination. However, they targeted different people, meaning that there was no majority vote, meaning that last night’s victim was random.</p>
<p>However, the doctor was successful! The would-be victim has been saved!</p>

<p>Ohhhh snap. I used to play this all the time after cotillion practice lol. It got really intense, with people forming alliances, group-to-peer interrogations, backstabbings, and hardcore speculation based on people’s tells. Friendships died during those games.</p>
<p>Also, facebook has an online game which pretty much does everything already going on here, except it’s all automated and stuff.</p>
