How common is it for people to have magazine subscription in college? Do they just go to the mail room to pick it up?

At my school, very common. And your school will assign you a campus mailbox where you receive magazines and other mail. Your school should also have a mail center that receives packages for you. So subscribe away, as long as you know your new mailing address.

I have no idea what other students get in their mailbox. My roommate had like four magazine subscriptions. I don’t have any magazine subscriptions but I do netflix. It’s nice to have a reason to check your mail, since you have to do it anyway.

I don’t get this question… You go to wherever they deliver your mail–usually a mailbox and pick it up.
Kind of straight forward.

As for actual subscriptions, I don’t pay attention to what other students get from their boxes.

However, you can get dirt cheap subscriptions (like $2 for two years worth) from eBay. They’re sold as “gift certificates” though since selling subscriptions on eBay isn’t allowed–but it’s the exact same thing.

^ You can get subscriptions for free. There are a lot of sites that send some information about yourself to the company and they decide whether they would like to offer you free subscriptions or not. I get maxim, the economist, forbes, business week, popular science, discover, scientific america, and time all at no cost.

^ Wow. What websites?

What if you get like Playboy subscription do people at the mail room look at you weirdly XD
