Magazine subscriptions: what to do?

I haven’t seen words of wisdom about this so I figured I’d ask. D has about 5 different magazine subscriptions she gets at home, 3 of which are weeklies. I figured that I would just send a weekly magazine package to her at school once she moves in, but I think that will get old quick. But if she changes the address on them, she won’t be at school to get them during winter break & summer.

For those of you with kids already enrolled, what did you do?

Personally, I’d have her switch the address. Otherwise, it’ll really add up. Then change back for summer. And I’d call the college and see what happens to mail sent over the shorter holiday break.

I switch my address for school then change it back for summer. They are waiting for me when I get to school after breaks, and for my subscriptions it hasn’t been a big deal to swap back for summer…

could she switch to an online version or check if the library at school has them? may be able to drop a few

Thanks so much guys; I guess I will have her switch. She’ll have her p.o. box for all 4 years. I was wondering what students do so thanks for your input, Emaheevul.

Parent56: D & I have a bit of a magazine “problem” we both have cut back but until there’s full content online, we’re still going to get some in print.
