Hi,
My son is applying to MUWCI this year. Parents of children studying there or alumni of the college, please let me know abut the admission system and about their scholarship policy. Also does the college have good academics since the emphasis seems to be more on community service. Any other inputs w.r.t the college will be much appreciated.

MUWCI, like most of the United World Colleges, follows the International Baccalaureate program. The IB program is an excellent academic program. You can read more about it if you search posts here or if you check the official web site 500;

Thanks. But is the UWC is academically oriented since the website talks more about extra curriculars and community service.

Yes–if they offer the International Baccalaureate program or Diploma. It is considered a rigorous advanced academic college preparation program recognized worldwide, including the U.S. Some colleges will give college credits for it.
