<p>I’ve kept the name I was born with. My kids’ elementary school couldn’t seem to deal with this, so I’d answer to Mrs. [husband’s last name] too. More often I was known as [First son’s name]'s mom. My children have my husband’s last name. This can be confusing too - one summer all of their camp clothes were labeled with my last name by the camp supply company.</p>
<p>And to add to the thread immediately above - the Irish attorney my firm engaged for advice on a transaction last year was Miss Lawless.</p>
