Has anybody else watched the DVD? I think the best line was from the Commandant, and was “we’re not gonna eatcha.”

surprisingly enough, i’ve heard that from a lot of people lately…

It’s a fact I constantly remind myself of.
(And yes, I did just end my sentance with a preposition. Take that, English buffs!)

You’ve heard that they aren’t gonna eat you, or that the quote was the best line of the dvd?

I’ve heard from people that they won’t eat us, that’s why I found the quote from the dvd ironic.

I rolled on the floor laughing when I heard that comment! “After all, we’re not going to eatcha!” hahahhaa

They can’t physically hurt us at all, or else they get in major trouble themselves. Heard an “Old Corps” tale about this one kid who, during breakfast, made a cow at his table mad. So the cow kinda shoved the table at this kid, who all the sudden started screaming and holding his leg, which had been crushed between the table leg and the his chair. The firsties at the table freaked and the cow was totally scared–they rushed him to the barracks and put him in his room and tried to pretend it didn’t happen…

Of course, the kid was faking it as a joke and thought it was funny as hell, 'cause the upperclassman were afraid they’d be seperated. I guess they didn’t want to explain to the CO why they’d crushed a plebe’s leg just because he couldn’t correctly idenitfy the meal’s beverage.

food for thought (ha ha ha )
