Mail Order Sweets

I always send my S cookies from here: [www.cherryrepublic.com - World Headquarters for All Things Cherry! - dried cherries, chocolate covered dried cherries, cherry salsa, cherry nutmix, cherry juice, cherry concentrate, gourmet cherry jams and cherry gifts! Glen Arbor Traverse City](http://www.cherryrepublic.com/) $5 shipping, everything is packaged so nicely and we think the cookies are really good.

There are shops on etsy that sell absolutely delicious looking sweets. I love etsy because I like to support smaller businesses, and you can search for things local to your area or specific foods, and filter by area.

[Plants and Edibles on Etsy - Baked goods, spices, herbs, tea & more](<a href=“Food & Drink - Etsy”>Food & Drink - Etsy)

I never thought of Etsy for food! I might have gone that route as well - I will keep that in mind for Exam treat time! I too, like supporting small business (and I just got hungrily lost searching at the delicious biscotti available on Etsy under “baked goods”)

There is a Pennsylvania restaurant chain called Eat N Park which sells delicious decorated smiley face cookies and other decorated seasonal cookies. I have ordered these numerous times with great results. You can go to the Eat N Park website, or smileycookie dot com to check it out.

I came on the thread to recommend Dancing Deer, and someone’s beat me to it!

I am a very harsh critic, and these are some of the best brownies I’ve had in my life, better than many that come straight from the oven:

Etsy suggestion was genius. I dared not hope someone would suggest something that had vegan options for a picky eater and now I feel like I’ve hit the jackpot.

I second the recommendation for See’s Candies. I’m sending them to my daughter, but I live near a store so I picked it up there and will pay for my own shipping. But you can order from their website. I think the shipping is less in the winter than it is in the summer since they don’t have to worry about melting.

My daughter wrote a brief essay on why she misses See’s Candies.

I came on CC to check a few threads, and saw this light-hearted thread.

When I read the dke had personal connection to Dancing Deers, went ahead and sent DS a gift. Boy, does he benefit from his mom’s addiction to CC.

I don’t know how one can stop reading and caring about those facing V Day without their spouse, or losing parents, or facing medical crises, or handling difficult times with children.
