Maintaining grades for early decision

I’ve been accepted ED to trinity college for Duke.
So far in my high school career, I’ve had around 3 or 4 B’s total, and in the quarter report, I had straight A’s.
However, this semester, I’m in danger of getting up to 4 B’s with the rest being A’s (I have 8 classes with 6 being AP classes, 9 if you include my multivariable class at a community college).
I will get a B in Government AP (can’t bring it up), but I’m in danger of getting a B in 3 other AP classes (high B or low A right now).
In the worst case scenario, where I get a B in all 4 of the classes with the rest being A’s, will Duke revoke my acceptance?

No… (10char)

I’m in the same situation. Never gotten a B but could potentially get 3 this semester (out of 6) and I also had straight A’s at the quarter. Only difference is that I’m not worrying :)

Revoking an acceptance is a drastic thing that almost never happens short of you committing a felony (and found guilty) or getting multiple C, D, or F’s. They only say that so you don’t slack off last semester.

I think out of 6 classes, my midyear grades may be 2 As and 4 Bs. I think it’s OK as long as it’s not multiple Cs, but I don’t even want to be close to a C so I’m gonna work harder next semester.

So no need to worry, esp since it’s only midyear. You could have Ds… they look at your final transcript to make the final decision.

Bs don’t play a factor in getting you kicked out of uni…but if you want to prepare for the competitive environment at Duke then I best advise you to take full advantage of your high school and learn to your maximum potential. :)
