Major for forensic psychology

Hi! I want to be a forensic psychologist but none of the schools I applied to have that as a major, and I know it is good to get a general major and then specify in graduate school.

Does anyone have advice on whether I should major in Criminal Justice / Criminology or Psychology?

And any other classes I should definitely take?

Thanks!!!

My daughter is interested in the same field. Definitely focus on a general psych degree. Forensics will require an advanced degree.

Specializations in psychology are really done at the graduate level. For undergrad, you should major in psychology (and take classes in criminal justice or criminology if you can).
