Major ideas...

I’m a junior in high school, living in Arizona. Currently, my biggest interests are solar & wind energy, technology, urban planning, and plants. So far, I’ve taken biology, chemistry, and I’m currently taking biotechnology. I tend to rush some things, and I’ve already started thinking about what I want to major in in college, as well as what college I want to go to. What majors would best suit my interests (I’m open to double majoring), and which colleges have strong programs in those majors (you can just list a few if there are many)? Any input is appreciated, thanks!

Potential majors…

Architecture, landscape architecture, physical geography, urban planning, agronomy, horticulture, geographic information systems (GIS), water science, plant science.

GIS might be worth a close look.

Agronomy… Soil science is a strong field now.

ASU has strong programs in GIS, geography, urban planning and architecture.

UA has everything on the list.
