Major in Business with CS Minor

I’ve been accepted for Business Administration but I feel that a minor in CS would only increase my qualifications by the end of my time at GT as an undergrad. I’ve heard rumors about it being very tough even as a minor, also, how one should not take it just to make bank as succeeding is not that easy. Hence, I ask, is it really a bad idea, and would my period of graduation take more than 5 years? Is this decision worth it in the end/ long run?

How hard a CS minor is really depends on your skills in coding, etc, but if you decide to do it, it shouldn’t take you more than 5 years to graduate. My advice is to wait until after your first CS class (I’m pretty sure all majors are required to take a CS class), see how that goes, and declare a minor then if you want. Also, you don’t really need to declare a minor this early. You can a declare a minor after your sophomore year, and it’s probably still possible to graduate in 4 years total.
