<p>Yes. There is no reason that an undergrad business school essay has to be focused on stocks or investments. There are lots of facets of business – technology/start-ups being a huge one.</p>
<p>You don’t have to have stock or investment ECs, although it helps, especially at a school as competitive as Stern. If you have great scores and grades though, you have a great shot. Software dev and tech is part of business as mentioned above!</p>
