Major Pre-Req

Is it valuable to complete these before the fall filing (spelling) period, or is it ok to simply tell the college you are going to do this, then follow through with your statement?

just make sure you have about 75% of them finished (especially when your major is impacted).

no it’s not required to “complete” pre-reqs by Fall. you have till the end of that school year (sans summer) to complete those. In the application you state your planned classes for the Spring semester. They do check on these later on, when you send your final transcript.

OK, thanks Citan

although it is not required to complete the pre-reqs by fall, it is, however, STRONGLY recommended to have majority of them completed by then.
You have better chance of admission.

Well if some of you have read my previous thread…I’m trying to do the CC thing in a year (as I have 21 credits from another school already). Would you reccomend I try to finish in 1 year (which would mean my major pre-reqs wouldn’t be even close to completed by fall…as I would just be starting them then) or should I go at a slower pace and try to do it in 2 years instead? I’d prefer to get it done w/ in one year as the prospect of CC doesn’t get the blood flowin

Go for it (apply this Fall) :)
