I’m interested in U penn’s Business Major as first choice and communications as 2nd. The two majors are from different U Penn schools. Do I have to send two applications or one?

If one application, how does the process work? They evaluate you for the 1st choice and if did not qualify they automatically evaluate you for the next choice.

How many choices can you have?

Is the process similar for most colleges?

**Can I apply to multiple Undergraduate Schools at Penn, or do I have to apply to a specific Undergraduate School or program? **

You must apply to one of the four Undergraduate Schools – when admitted, that school will be considered your home school. All students at Penn can take up to four courses at any of Penn’s Undergraduate Schools, there are also cross school majors and minors. Students do not have to declare their major or concentration until the second semester of their sophomore year.

How does this work? Let’s say you apply to College of Arts and Sciences and you get admitted, can you then take some classes from Wharton?
