major recommendations

I want to work in consulting or ibanking after I graduate, and I just finished my freshmen year as an economics major. So far I've completed 2 FWS, the science requirements, some distribution requirements/breadth, and intro micro/macro (I had credit for Calc BC). The major itself is only going to be 8 more courses, so I am wondering what concentration/double major I should consider. Which is going to give me a better chance at landing a consulting job? I thought about Government since it's a popular combination but I really have no interest in working for the government in the future, and it doesn't have a whole lot to do with consulting. Thanks.

double major in math. a second major in math will open up a major door for b school classes etc. Seriously consider it.
