Major-Req Classes

<p>I’m going to go see an advisor in a few days, but I was wondering if I could get a quick relief answer.</p>

<p>I want to know if you can take major-req classes at another place (community college), like Calc 2, CMSC132, things like that. It would make things a whole lot easier on me. But I heard that you’re not allowed to take major-req classes at another place and you have to take them at UMCP, is that true?</p>

<p>You have to get a PTE (permission to enroll) form filled out by your advisor. They’ll only let you if you live out of state during the summer and want to take a class at your community college (my friend took chemistry in at her community college in CT). You can also take major-req classes during study abroad.</p>
