major verification?

<p>I dunno if it’s the same for all incoming freshmen, but the page at HumEc says I need to verify my major until June 19th. Should I just click yes, that the major that shows on the screen is my intention? Can I change my major after the verification?</p>

<p>Yes, you can definitely change your major after verifying it there. It’s mostly just for planning purposes, because HumEc will make you a schedule of basic courses for first semester based on your intended major.</p>

<p>CAS also sent out an e-mail with instructions for major verification. I originally put English but I think I’m going to switch to undecided…</p>
