<p>I know you don’t declare your major until later but I was told that you give some advisers your supposed major so they can figure out courses for you. I plan to double major or major/minor in psych and english, and was wondering if they ask you this at the NYU orientation or do they just consider one major. I’m going session F.</p>
<p>As long as you know what your interests are it’s good. Some people come in clueless. If you plan on doing more than one major then you need to plan on those interests not changing as it can cause scheduling problems.</p>
<p>and pretty much first sem, you end up taking Writing the Essay, ConWest/World Cultures, Nat Sci, Exp Cult (the MAPs) so you don’t really need to have a clue at all.</p>
