<p>Traditional students vary in study strengths… In particular, rote memorization is NOT one of my strong suits. However, I am very skilled at manipulating the material in a conceptual/ theoretical manner. As of currently, I am majoring in computer science, since I find the subject content both engaging and appealing to my academic approach. I had initially been determined to major in a biology-related discipline but was deterred in part due to the vast amount of rote memorization required. Are there any other majors that you feel have attractive qualities for theoretical/conceptual learners?</p>

<p>Engineering really involves a lot of theoretical and conceptual understanding even though you’ll hear the physicists complain we only do applied stuff.</p>
