Hello everyone! Can someone tell me which are the top majors in Cornell University? Thanks
You mean the majors with the most students? According to CollegeBoard, 16% are engineers, 13% are agriculture, and 13% are biology. With engineering, while 16% may be engineers, there are all different majors within the engineering college. I’m not sure what CollegeBoard is considering Agriculture, but they’re clearly clumping together a bunch of majors with that as well. My roommate is an actual agricultural sciences major and there are only like 15 of them per class. I can believe there are that many bio majors; it feels like almost everyone I know is a bio pre-med.
Well, what are you general interest?
Thanks Ranza!!!
I mean… What are the top programs in Cornell? Like the best of the best? I know the Engineering program is top notch, what about the applied economics and management program?
To answer your question: Yes, the Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management is very highly regarded among undergraduate business programs.
AEM is highly regarded. I think the Operations Research (OR) major in Engineering is very highly sought after by employers after college. CS is a difficult program and gets a ton of respect. Cornell architecture is always considered one of the top programs in the nation.
