These majors are probably fun, but are they actual valuable to the student or society in the long term?

They are trendy. In high school back in the day I was taught by the Dominican Sisters of Saint Catherine. A while ago I found the order’s website. They are now called the Dominican Sisters of Peace. Even Catholic nuns are getting on the “trendy” bandwagon!
I wonder what proportion of these students are trust-fund babies.
