<p>How much does the major you put down on your application affect your admissions decision? Is there more spots for certain majors at Northwestern?</p>
<p>well, from what i’ve been hearing… unless u’re applying to medill (journalism major), school of communication, SESP…etc. any of the schools other than WACAS (college of arts and sciences) it wont really matter. It only does for the other schols becsaue there’s a limited amount of spots.</p>

<p>yup! ED though, to Medill, GPA : W 4.22, UW 3.98, SAT I 1500, SATII, 700 Writing, 700 Math IC 800 Chinese, and 710 US Hist. not that spectacualr scores compare to most of the applicants i’ve read on here… :)</p>
<p>I’m pretty sure the major doesn’t matter at all- just which school you apply to. (Medill is the most competetive and also the hardest to transfer into once accepted.)</p>
