Make-ahead grab and go breakfast/brunch foods

Make ahead and freeze chaffles. They can just pop in toaster and be on their way! (Savory chaffles reheat better than sweet ones, IMHO…

These two friends of ds are Texans. Any breakfast burrito I attempt won’t compare to what they can get where they live.

No Costco here

No Trader Joe’s here either

Yes, I have a great breakfast casserole that I make at Christmas. And, I’ve made full-sized crustless quiches as well.

I’m wondering about these:

I am thinking as @abasket implied - there may be no time to pause at the table. These seem more hand-held friendly than an egg bite or crustless quiche. Thoughts?

I’ve made those before. They are a staple in my friends freezer! My husband adores them. Not exactly healthy but filling and a treat. You can probably use a leaner sausage.

Husband who is picky and somewhat a bland eater likes to dip his in ketchup. I like bbq sauce ! Or nothing!

When my daughter had her babies I made breakfast sandwiches on English muffins, wrapped and put them in the freezer. You could skip the freezer and just have them in the refrigerator and they can microwave to warm.
When we go camping I buy the individual oatmeal’s in the container for the last morning to avoid dishes.Just add hot water and go. I buy them at Whole Foods and they have a decent selection.

The oatmeal reminded me of grab and go prepared foods we keep in the fridge all the time - apple sauce and fruit in those individual cups.

I’m going to try those Sausage muffins. Those look really good!

Hot tip. I see they make these in cupcake liners. Not a bad idea. I always just roll mine in balls and bake on parchment. Depends if you want a bite (1-2 bites) sized or hand held multi-bite size!

These are different from traditional sausage balls which don’t contain any eggs. At least my recipe doesn’t

Like @abasket, I was thinking breakfast burritos, but her recipe was ‘midwest’ (not hot and spicy) and didn’t have potatoes in it. There was a place across from my office that had HUGE ones and they were so good. Texas boys will want spicy, and potatoes. And HUGE.

But there are some in the frozen section of the grocery story, individually wrapped, and they aren’t bad. I think it is 3 minute in the microwave.

My friend would make a big batch of breakfast burritos for mornings when we’d go golfing and heat and wrap in foil. They were hot and steamy on about the 5th hole. Delicious.

I love breakfast and would eat any of the things posted here. For a recipe that calls for nuts, you can substitute dried cranberries.
