<p>Upon checking the freshman orientation activities at Pomona, I noticed there will be a Frosh Aid event on Sunday, August 28, from 9 to midnight, to which admissions will be one canned food item. One more thing to add to D’s packing list . . .</p>
<p>It’s not a necessity. My sponsors my first-year bought us all cans, although I think that might have been more an exception than the rule. I remember other people having extras that I used last year. If neither happens, you can also get into the party by paying a dollar as well.</p>
<p>Good to know, gnat. I’m not relishing bringing additional weight across the country.</p>
