I constantly find myself making dumb mistakes on the practice test. After i check over the ones i got wrong, i easily find the mistake and correct it. I am not taking these practice test in the most ideal conditions and seem not concentrated. Any tips to stay aware and focused? Also i have glasses but chose not to wear them, should i reconsider that although i see fine?

Making dumb mistakes on the tests*

Are your glasses specifically for reading? If so, I think I would wear them.

I do the same thing. I think it comes down to timing and being able to do everything super fast. Practice the timing a lot for each section. They each require different strategies and they should be tailored to your strengths and weaknesses.

I have trouble focusing after the break (when I really need to focus the most). Just practice focusing in smaller chunks of time at first – like one passage – and gradually increase it.

Thank you, that’s how I am going to approach it. Also, I’m not really sure about the glasses.

it could also be because of the time limit, that many people hastily go through the questions, only to rush up their logical thinking and hence stumble on those questions. it’s why ACT is notoriously hard.

Tigerash, how should i work on it? I find myself scoring from 29-33 semi-rushing the practice tests. I score about 34ish not timing myself at all.
