Making friends in college

My daughter felt that she met lots of people her freshman year of college but that there were no real deep connections until closer to the end of freshman year and into sophomore year.

Yeah I hear from college students all the time that almost none of the freshmen year friendships (especially within the first few weeks) last Thank you
