Hoping for some advice or direction.

No financial aid.
Have sole sibling with physical disabilities and autism who I am sometimes caregiver for. Has shaped my life in profound ways. I will likely write about this. Music has also shaped my life. I am introverted and my cello gives me a voice.

I feel like I am weak on leadership. I think my test scores and grades are my strength.

Would Ivy league schools even consider me?

You have an impressive profile and I think ivies would consider you, but that doesn’t really matter. No one on this forum can accurately predict if you’ll get into an ivy, and if you’re trying to make a practical college list, ivies and reach schools in general shouldn’t be the first thing on your mind.

While your post is very informative, you’ve told us very little about what you’re actually looking for in a school. Are you more interested in universities, LACs, or both? What size? In what part of the country (or world)? In a city, in the middle of nowhere or something in between? What do you want to major in? Any other preferences?

“No financial aid” - does that mean that you don’t need aid, or just won’t qualify for need-based aid? If the latter, how much can you pay per year?

Apologies, my first post. My plan is to major in Environmental Science with a music minor. I’d consider both types of schools. My preference would be West Coast or East Coast in a large city or close proximity. I’m fortunate my hardworking grandfather (farmer) left me enough money for my schooling so I will not need nor qualify for aid. I do intend to honor this gift with the same work ethic. My concern is my small list of extra curricular activities. I know my test cores and grades are fine.

Unless you have your heart set on ivies, I wouldn’t be too concerned about ECs. You clearly have a strong commitment to music and have demonstrated leadership in a variety of ways.

In terms of schools, take a look at Vassar. I remember many students talking about the strength of their environmental studies program when I was there, and they also have a strong music department.

I’m sure there are tons of other schools out there that would be good fits for you; hopefully someone who has more knowledge about environmental science programs will chime in.
