Management or Economics

Hello, I am majoring in Biomedical Engineering, but I want to get an MBA in Healthcare Management after I graduate from my undergrad, and I was wondering what would more useful: a minor in economics or a certificate in management studies (a business maganement minor more or less)?

If you have to ask, then you are not the type of person who will get into an MBA program immediately after college. You need work experience.

If your school is a top biomedical engineering program and your economics program as well, then I would choose econ. Solid econ grades will factor into your MBA admission with a strong GMAT that you have the quantitative skills to suceed academically. But without real world experience, you don’t bring any worth while opinions to class discussions which is equally as important.
