Mandatory rush week meeting?

<p>Hey guys</p>

<p>So, I’m planning on coming back for rush week, and I just read that there’s some sort of mandatory meeting Monday, January 12th at 7 pm (the same day the dorms open). The only problem is, my plane is scheduled to land in Ithaca somewhere around 11 pm. Is the meeting really mandatory, as in if I don’t go I can’t rush? Or, is it like the orientation week meetings where they only say it’s mandatory so most people go? If any upperclassman who rushed have experience with this it’d be great. I’d hate to get to Ithaca a week early only to find out that I can’t even rush. Thanks!</p>

<p>i missed it when i rushed because my flight was delayed. panhell will call you to make sure are actually taking part in recruitment, so really there is nothing to worry about.</p>
