<p>Does anyone have experience with the bassoon program at Mannes or Hartt?</p>
<p>Marc Goldberg, the bassoon instructor at Hartt, is also on the faculty for Mannes (and Columbia). My son is a May '07 Hartt graduate (BM viola performance) and was a member of the honors chamber program Performance 20/20. He’s played with a couple of great bassoonists while there in various mixed ensembles. </p>
<p>Overall, he had a great experience at Hartt, developed a tremendous faculty and peer network; it was the perfect choice for him. Hartt can be quite generous with talent based aid, up to full tuition.</p>
