<p>Here’s a little map I just created with some of the attractions specifically around the UCSB area. Blue balloons represent shopping, green balloons represent food, and yellow balloons represent substance-free entertainment to be found in the immediate area. I’ll be updating it continually so be sure to check back</p>

<p>Also, the rumors you’ve heard are true, UCSB does not have a football team. However, I do hope you guys have school pride and follow UCSB’s athletes. The biggest program on campus is the men’s soccer team, which one the national championship in 2006 (they also lost in the championship game in 2004) and led the nation in attendance in 2007 and 2008. Here’s some photos from the UCSB vs Washington playoff game in 2007 at Harder Stadium which attracted nearly 10,000 fans:</p>

<p>Heh, I wasn’t going to add any Isla Vista eateries to let you find them yourself but since Freebirds is so famous I decided to add it. I also started added placemarks in downtown Santa Barbara. </p>

<p>Even though Santa Barbara is a small town, there’s a lot of stuff to do around. During my time here, I managed to visit a lot of the tourist attractions downtown. Here’s a good website that summarizes most of the toursity places, and I’ll add the locations to my map shortly:</p>
