March 29 Wave

It was posted this morning on an SC board a granddaughter of an SC alumnus was accepted as of yesterday in western Pennsylvania.

Also, in southern California a valedictorian who was No.1 in her class, with an SC parent was not accepted. She received the thin envelope yesterday.

rejected this morning with 3/29 acted on status change

This is the only school left. DX Why is it taking so long?

ZZzzz I want my decision :|

sigh I got my rejection letter today… live in VA, acted on 3/29

I don’t want to go to the mailbox today. -_-

i got my acceptance for spring yesterday…the letter was dated March 27, but my status didn’t change to acted on until today, 4/1…also, it was stamped “PRIORITY MAIL” in the upper right hand corner.

rejected from central nj

status changed on march 27 to in review and then acted upon on 3/29.

i’m sorry jeter … i’m in piscataway and don’t really want the mail to come today.

ya it kinda sucks. got rejected from seven straight schools. waiting for umich

Jeter, are you in anywhere? Do you have a good safety?

Acted upon 3/29, rejected today. No surprise there, it was kind of relieving. I’ll be there next year, so I hardly care.

So many people are saying with certainty that they are gonna transfer in. Isn’t that even more competitive?

This might be totally wrong, but I have always heard that transferring in is way easier than getting in as a freshman.

just got rejected…
acted on 3/29

good luck everyone

Music is right, definitely easier to transfer in than apply as a freshman.

Got rejected. O well.

D received her rejection today. She’s off to Loyola Marymount – as a matter of fact, she’s out FedEx’ing her commitment deposit as I post!

I’m sure everyone will be happy wherever they end up – good luck to all of you.

It’s definitely easier, and about a third of USC students entered as transfers (according to the FAQ sheet that came with the rejection letter).

I don’t think I’ll have a problem transferring. Honestly, USC was a bit of a long shot with my subpar GPA, I didn’t work hard at all in high school and it showed. I’ll actually go to class in college, maybe even do my homework, take the required classes (Econ 203, Econ 205, Math 118, and Writ 130), get as close to a 4.0 as I can, and enter as a sophomore.

timely i got in rutgers and penn st but being from nj basically everyone from my high school will be at rutgers.
