jkiwmom thanks! I thought you guys looked @ the past posts…it states that it did not have anything to do with our decision

OMG Tomorrow big day!

Oh I just checked my e-mail again and it says 6pm EST… I hope this doesn’t mean anything in particular…

someone from ED told us it doesn’t! He clarified it:)

Phew… okay, that’s great to know. Thank you :)

Hey no problem. And who added that disgusting tag? Delete it

where is the tag?

Claaaaaaaassy XD

Hey, guys, if the email says 5 EST, does that mean that you won’t really get your responses until 6 or later? We are already in EDT! Kidding. Good luck to all.

what’s the difference between EST and EDT? LOL

well, good luck to y’all.

:(

10char

Ahhhhhhhh. So nervous.

If I get waitlisted, I can say I didn’t have a single rejection :D

But I’ve already been waitlisted at two schools that are slightly less selective than Brown so I’m banking on a rejection. I’ve got good stats but unimpressive ECs. Maybe my writing ability will pull me through.

I guess I’ll know in a few hours! If I don’t get accepted, I’ve always got Wellesley. No great loss, haha.

haha franglish!
hellokitty2: “normal” time vs. daylight savings. :)

and kenzie1992: after hearing that Amherst story, I’m even more positive than ever that you could really end up getting into Brown after being waitlisted from less selective schools. I’m in the same sort of situation but I’m holding out hope, haha.

anyway, I am being angelically patient today (really, I am doing surprisingly well), and I’d like to keep that up, so it’s time to get off CC. Good luck, everyone! :)

Question: even if the given time for an applicant is 7:00, will decisions technically be up earlier? Are the time slots more like “recommended check times” or legit upload times?

legit upload times ! and kenzie1992–you should have applied to uofwashington ! I wanted to go to Oregon, but the costs…so I’m hoping Med there!

I didn’t want to go to U of Washington - too close to home and too big. It’s a very good school though, most of my IB cohort is going there  I would definitely consider it for grad school depending on what I decide I want to do.

Really? UWash just seems so interesting! Where else did you apply?

I dont really care about Brown. Full ride to Georgetown and Boston College. waiting on Dartmouth…

Georgetown, no way  and Boston college…congrats!! I will definitely chose between them two. Although, Boston is where I’d like to be.
