ROCK CHALK, JAYHAWK!

I won!!!

Not only number one, but the only female in the top 20% or so lol. Whoot :D

^hey! I made it to nineth place!!! WooHoo!!! Not bad for someone who doesn’t know a thing about these teams/coaches. Thanks ya’ll; it was fun to play.

Congratulations YDS! ;)

Agree with limabeans - lots of fun. I was sitting in next to last place after the first weekend, but my correct final game pick gave me a big boost. Who knows how well I could have done if my favorite Commodores had gotten past Wisconsin!

Spent a good amount of time at #1, but knew it wouldn’t last. Had a great time and can’t wait until next year. It’s a good reason to stick around cc!

Congrats YDS!!!

Congrats YDS!

As we said to S last night, anytime your team is still playing on the last night it’s a good year. We’re very proud of our Jayhawks!

This was fun. I hovered around 10th place (tied) for a while, and then sunk to 28th. The later picks in my bracket were more sentimental than they should have been, but what the heck. Next year I’ll do two: heart and head. I’m grateful to my Mizzou senior S for giving his basketball-loving mom a great team to root for these past four years.

Congrats to YDS!!! My dog Henry and I had an awful year! Definitely a bad year for those of us on the West Coast.

Thanks, all. I used to be in an office pool and would say it’s the most fun you can have for $5 – weeks and weeks of entertainment. And then I love running the scenario generators. I was shocked last week to learn I could also win if Louisville had won it all!!

I just watched a segment on msnbc where Bob Costas argues that freshmen shouldn’t play varsity as a way to circumvent the “one and done” phenomena. This Kentucky alum loved what he had to say about how to keep Calipari from gaming the system legally. As an academic, I want to see student-athletes play, not just a team of NBA prospects. I drank the kool-aid when Gordon Gee eliminated the position of athletic director and put athletics under the VP’s position at Vandy during one of my son’s first years there. I’m sure I’m in the minority in my state though.

Congrats YDS! Wasn’t in the cards for me this year. And to make matters worse, DH – who knows absolutely NOTHING about hoops – picked Kentucky so took our family pool. (I mean he knows so little he didn’t even know most of the country assumed the 'cats would walk away with it) :O

romanigypsyeyes, there are lots of females in the top ten! Congrats YDS and peabs!

I was #6 (and a girl as the name suggests) The tourney was a lot of fun.

Counting- I meant in my pool. I didn’t make it into the CC pool as I didn’t know about it.

Congratulations to yds and peabodie! Their alternate entries–the ones that didn’t turn out as well as their top picks–still did much better than my bracket. I bought into the “Oh, the Big Ten is under-rated” hype. See you again next year, when I hope that Dog Henry and I will both have better luck!

Thanks for organizing this, lderochi!
