<p>I’m really sick of “flagrant” foul calls though. They are necessary. They are being grossly overused IMO. It’s like the refs are covering their petunias rather than actually being refs. </p>

<p>Great tournament for the Big Ten so far, 6 of 7 wins in round of 64, 2 for 2 Saturday to advance to the Sweet 16, with 4 Big Ten teams still looking to advance on Sunday. </p>
<p>Big East advanced 3 to the Sweet 16 Saturday, but they’re the only Big East teams still in it, and Marquette has had 2 near-death experiences.</p>
<p>PAC 12 advanced 2 to Sweet 16 Saturday, but they’re the only PAC teams still in.</p>
<p>ACC has no teams yet to advance to Sweet 16, but 3 chances on Sunday.</p>
<p>SEC and Big 12 have 2 chances to advance on Sunday.</p>
<p>So far the “power conferences” are showing their power, but all the hype about the Big Ten being this year’s premier basketball conference appears to be playing out. Unless they lay an egg on Sunday.</p>
