March Madness & Graduation rates...

interesting…some of the numbers are a bit scary…

[March Madness of graduation rates: U-Conn. loses, Notre Dame wins - Campus Overload - The Washington Post](http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/campus-overload/post/march-madness-of-graduation-rates-u-conn-loses-notre-dame-wins/2012/03/12/gIQARKHc8R_blog.html)

I saw a similar article today and right away thought it was not the best measure, as CT does have many guys leave for the NBA after 3 years. A better measure is APR (Academic Progress Rate), which takes turning pro into account and looks at grades and eligibility.

There was also a story on the news yesterday that said the vasectomy rates greatly increase during March. Apparently men think it would be a good time to take time off work.

Go Irish! They win in every similar type of study I’ve seen, no matter how it is measured. Interesting about the vasectomies :)

Well, if you have to sit home for a few days with an ice pack on your crotch, you might as well have something to take your mind off of it. :D
